This product, in attractive boxes and metallized bags for long shelf life, is ideal for retail sales in health food and specialty gourmet food stores.
Our Retail Box has the following features:
- Product identification on the front of the box
- Nutritional factors, ingredients and bar code on the back of the box
- The box contains 5oz. (approximately 20) breadsticks
The Breadstick Box:
The breadsticks are inside metalized barrier pouches. Our pouches are 3.2m thick and are made of strong metalized polyester and linear low-density polyethylene reinforced with vinyl acetate for an exceptional barrier against gas, moisture, odors and light. The pouches are filled with 5oz. of breadsticks and then are flashed and injected with a stable food-grade gas (food mix #13) composed of 99.9% nitrogen provided to us by “Praxair”.
For opening the pouches there is a tear notch.
Shelf Life of Discovery Foods 5oz Retail Boxes:
- On grocery store shelves 5 to 6 months in ambient temperature under 75F degrees
- Maintaining in refrigerator until using, product remains fresh for 8 months at 35 to 40 degrees temperature
- Stored in freezer, product will remain fresh indefinitely if maintained at sub-zero temperature in freezer
